Job Summary




Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the General Manager in running a compliant, person-centered care home. The role focuses on providing leadership, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining operational and statutory standards while fostering a safe and stimulating environment for residents.

Job Description:







Key Responsibilities

Provide inspirational leadership and management to the care team.



Ensure adherence to medication policies and procedures, assisting with review and administration.



Monitor resident wellbeing and update care plans as necessary.



Conduct monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other required documentation.



Attend weekly clinical meetings and monitor clinical risk areas.



Support the General Manager in achieving commercial performance targets and compliance standards.



Required Qualifications



Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar care environment in a management role.



Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.



Proficient in IT systems and capable of effective verbal and written communication.



Flexible and adaptive to cover a range of responsibilities as needed.

Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to undergo a DBS Disclosure check.
