CommScope is seeking a skilled Senior Buyer to support the Access Network Solutions (ANS) business segment. The role involves managing procurement operations, supplier relationships, and cost optimization to ensure smooth supply chain performance. Candidates should have at least 5 years of purchasing experience and strong SAP proficiency.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to payment, ensuring timely delivery and quality of purchased items.
Review daily sales orders and weekly MRP signals, creating, cancelling, or rescheduling POs as required.
Coordinate with suppliers, factories, and operations to ensure on-time material shipments.
Monitor past due POs and invoices, lead resolution efforts, and manage excess or shortage issues.
Execute supplier strategies and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
Generate reports from SAP to support procurement strategies, spend analysis, and supplier evaluation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage procurement budgets and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing with proven negotiation skills.
Hands-on experience with SAP procurement modules.
Strong knowledge of electronics, electrical, and mechanical components.
Experience in telecommunications or EMS industry preferred.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written).
Advanced Excel skills for large dataset analysis, including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, AVERAGEIFS.
Skilled in planning & supply analysis, financial analysis, project management, negotiation, and supply chain.
