Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment such as rotary kilns, coolers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.
- Lead a team of technicians and fitters during repair and maintenance activities.
- Monitor performance and condition of rotating equipment, checking vibration, temperature, and lubrication levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective measures.
- Develop maintenance schedules and spare part requirements in coordination with the planning department.
- Ensure strict compliance with mechanical safety standards and proper use of work permits.
- Participate in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and plant upgrades.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and prepare daily operational reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in DRI, Steel, Cement, or Process Plant maintenance.
- Strong technical expertise in rotary machinery, conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
