Job Summary

Shalina Healthcare is seeking a skilled and diligent Lab Technician to join the Shalina Diagnostics Ghana team. The ideal candidate will perform medical laboratory analyses, ensure adherence to quality assurance standards, and contribute to patient care through precise diagnostic work and good laboratory practice.





Key Responsibilities


Conduct routine and special laboratory tests while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.


Perform technical work in accordance with Shalina Diagnostics SOPs and safety regulations.


Keep accurate documentation and maintain proper laboratory records and logs.


Deliver high-quality technical services to support efficient patient care.


Maintain laboratory equipment in compliance with company and legislative standards.


Implement internal Quality Control (QC) measures to ensure reliable results.


Support laboratory research, audits, and evaluation of new diagnostic techniques.


Required Qualifications


Qualification: Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.


Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a diagnostic or medical laboratory setting.


Must be in good standing with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).


Strong technical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.


Commitment to safety, quality control, and teamwork.
