Camp Counselor

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals to join the Summer Camp team as Camp Counselors in Brazos Valley. This role involves supervising campers, facilitating engaging activities, and ensuring a safe and positive environment during holiday and summer camp programs.

Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times through active engagement.

Support the social, emotional, and character development of campers within assigned groups.

Lead and assist in organizing a variety of camp activities and programs.

Model the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Maintain a positive and professional attitude while serving as a role model to all campers.

Minimum age of 18 years with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated to inspire and guide children.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Ability to work outdoors and adapt to a camp environment.

Must pass a background check and drug test.
