Job Summary

Springbrook is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide and oversee comprehensive healthcare services for individuals supported under OPWDD programs. The role ensures medical needs are met in line with agency policies, professional nursing standards, and state regulations.




Key Responsibilities

Deliver and supervise nursing care to meet individual healthcare needs.


Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.


Oversee, train, and evaluate staff authorized to administer medications.


Conduct health assessments and monitor care across service settings.


Maintain communication with families, guardians, and staff regarding medical needs.


Coordinate continuity of care between shifts and across locations.


Document all medical care and services per OPWDD and Springbrook standards.


Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives.


Participate in the Administrator-on-Call rotation for after-hours support.

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the New York State Education Department.


Ability to work flexible hours.


Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.


Valid driver’s license and eligibility to drive Springbrook vehicles.
