Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans and oversee end-to-end execution to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Supervise design development, approvals, and on-site implementation according to specifications.
- Monitor progress and resolve issues to maintain project quality, budget, and schedule integrity.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking costs and approving expenditures.
- Review contractors’ claims and recommend cost-efficient alternatives.
- Ensure financial discipline and alignment with approved cost parameters.
Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct regular meetings to review progress, address issues, and maintain productivity.
- Provide mentorship and performance oversight to project staff.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to quality standards, design specifications, and HSE policies.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to secure permits and maintain compliance.
Risk Management:
- Identify project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Track and review emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder and Client Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Provide regular progress updates and ensure stakeholder expectations are met.
- Manage client concerns and ensure satisfaction with project delivery.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project documents, approvals, and communications.
- Prepare periodic progress and performance reports for management.
Required Qualifications
- Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Engineering or Project Management
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- 5+ years of project management experience in Real Estate and or Construction industry
- Must be vast in construction methodology
- Proficient in MS Project or similar tools
Skills & Competencies
- Proven project management experience in the real estate or construction industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of real estate development and construction processes.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
