Linum Consult’s client is a major distributor of heavy machinery and equipment serving the construction, road construction, and mining sectors across the Horn of Africa. Due to ongoing growth, they are recruiting a Site Manager to oversee mining equipment aftersales operations on-site in Ethiopia.

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all on-site aftersales operations for mining equipment.
Manage technical support, maintenance schedules, parts logistics, and client relations.
Ensure equipment availability, contract compliance, and operational safety standards.
Validate maintenance quality and adherence to OEM and company procedures.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for reliability.
Lead, coach, and develop technicians and supervisors to achieve performance targets.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Komatsu mining equipment maintenance on remote sites.
Strong technical knowledge of mining machinery and operations.
Proven leadership experience managing multinational teams.
Willingness to travel frequently within Ethiopia.
Fluency in English; Amharic language skills are an added advantage.
