Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist will support project delivery by developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies to support tenders and project delivery.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers and contractors to improve price, delivery, and quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure technical specifications, HSE standards, and quality requirements are embedded in contracts.
  • Support tender and sales teams by managing supplier proposals to meet deadlines and project timelines.
  • Lead and negotiate procurement agreements and contracts to secure products and services for the balance of plant.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all procurement documentation is up to date.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure delivery timelines are met.
  • Manage vendor selection and monitor supplier performance.
  • Coordinate logistics for inventory, tools, and equipment between warehouses and site locations.
  • Assist in resolving quality or delivery issues, including supplier claims.



Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement within a related industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external relationships.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with adaptability to market or supplier changes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.
