Remote Cloud Operations Engineer

The ideal candidate will design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, build automation tools, support deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system observability. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering (AWS or GCP), strong Linux skills, and proficiency in Bash or Python. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Jira, and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or Kibana is required, along with the ability to work flexible schedules and participate in on-call rotations.

* Provide 24/7 monitoring of cloud environments and resolve incidents.

* Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

* Build automation scripts and self-service solutions to improve efficiency.

* Monitor automated deployments and support system upgrades.

* Collaborate with Security, Development, and SRE teams to enhance observability.

* Utilize monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in Cloud Engineering (AWS and/or GCP).

* Strong experience with Linux operating systems.

* Proficiency in Bash and/or Python.

* Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Git, and Jira.

* Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana).

* Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and work flexible schedules.

* Experience in multi-cloud and production-grade environments.
