Assist in preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards
Handle basic cooking tasks such as chopping, marinating, grilling, and frying
Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and plating of dishes
Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen activities and staff
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the kitchen
Supervise junior kitchen staff and assist in training new team members
Monitor stock levels, assist in receiving and storing deliveries, and minimize food waste
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of food
Report issues with ingredients or kitchen equipment and support quality control
Minimum of 3 years of kitchen or culinary experience preferred
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
Culinary training or certification is an advantage
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
