Oversee daily branch operations including cash management, account processing, and customer service
Supervise and coordinate branch staff to ensure high productivity and service quality
Drive deposit mobilization, loan portfolio growth, and customer acquisition
Promote retail and SME products to individuals and businesses
Oversee credit appraisal, loan origination, and portfolio monitoring to minimize NPLs
Implement effective credit monitoring and recovery strategies
Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria regulations, NDIC, AML, and KYC standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and business partners
Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise branch staff
Monitor branch performance, prepare reports, and track key business metrics
Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps and achieve KPIs
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Deposit growth targets
Loan portfolio growth
Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio
Customer acquisition and retention
Branch profitability
Operational efficiency
Compliance and audit performance
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
MBA or professional certification in banking/finance is an advantage
7–10 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, lending practices, and financial products
Experience in deposit mobilization, credit administration, and business development
Leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
Strong financial analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
