Mechanic

Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join a semi-sub drill ship based in the United Kingdom. This short-term contract begins on the 30th of October, offering an opportunity to work with a leading global recruitment firm in the offshore sector.

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on the semi-sub drill ship.
• Ensure equipment operates efficiently and in compliance with industry safety standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and report mechanical faults or potential risks.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to maintain vessel performance.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures during all operations.

• Must have legal Right to Work (RTW) in the UK.
• Certificate of Competency (COC) – OOW Engineer Reg III/1.
• Valid Seafarer’s Book.
• DSD Certification.
• STCW Certificates.
• OPITO BOSIET/FOET including CA-EBS.
• MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training).
• OGUK Medical Certificate.
• Seafarer Medical.
• Bi-deltoid/shoulder measurement.
