Job Summary

Zamiva Transnational Services is seeking a skilled Procurement Executive to support procurement operations by sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services. The role involves assisting with supplier selection, cost management, and procurement documentation while maintaining compliance with operational standards.



Key Responsibilities

Assist the manager in implementing procurement processes for materials, equipment, and services at competitive prices


Ensure suppliers meet delivery schedules and maintain required material specifications


Support supplier sourcing, selection, and pre-qualification processes


Identify and recommend reliable supply sources through contractual arrangements to achieve cost efficiency


Obtain quotations, process requisitions, and maintain procurement records and documentation


Review purchasing invoices to ensure billing accuracy


Prepare vendor cost comparison reports for management review


Monitor demand forecasts and track inventory levels


Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments such as manufacturing, quality, distribution, and administration


Analyze spending data and cost models to identify improvement opportunities


Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures including SOPs and relevant regulatory guidelines


Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment


Perform other procurement or operational duties assigned by management



Required Qualifications



BSc or HND in a relevant field


2 to 3 years of procurement experience


Practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing procurement is an advantage


Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and other pharmaceutical regulatory requirements is an advantage


Experience with supply chain systems and logistics operations in developing contexts


Ability to analyze industry trends and procurement data


Ability to establish supplier specifications and evaluate supplier performance


Knowledge of risk management and ability to identify and address potential issues


Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills


Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Strong problem-solving and time management skills
