Job Summary

Domeo Resources International is seeking a seasoned General Manager to oversee the operations of its 5-star superior luxury hotel in Lagos. The GM will ensure high-quality guest service, operational efficiency, financial performance, and team leadership while driving business growth and maintaining the hotel’s prestigious reputation.


Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:


Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance)


Implement, monitor, and evaluate hotel policies and procedures


Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality


Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations


Financial Management:


Prepare and manage the hotel budget


Achieve financial targets, including profitability, revenue, and cost control


Monitor key performance metrics such as occupancy rates, RevPAR, and gross operating profit


Guest Experience:


Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience


Handle guest complaints and issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty


Monitor guest feedback and take appropriate action to address concerns


Human Resources and Leadership:


Lead, mentor, and inspire staff


Implement performance management processes to enhance productivity and motivation


Foster a positive work environment encouraging teamwork and professional growth


Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations:


Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive occupancy and revenue


Promote the hotel through partnerships, social media, events, and corporate engagements


Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients


Property Management:


Oversee maintenance of hotel infrastructure to ensure safety, efficiency, and a luxurious guest experience


Work with engineering and maintenance teams to maintain facilities in excellent condition

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree advantageous)


Minimum 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in senior management at a 5-star luxury hotel
