Procurement Officer

Neveah Limited is a leading commodity trading company engaged in the export of solid minerals and agricultural products, with five operational offices across Nigeria and its head office in Abuja. The company seeks a qualified and technically competent Procurement Officer to support its Aluminium and Copper Ingots Manufacturing Plant in Ogun State. The role involves sourcing scrap materials, managing suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement operations that align with production and cost objectives.

• Source and evaluate suppliers of scrap and raw materials.
• Manage procurement processes in line with company policies and vendor selection guidelines.
• Negotiate and procure goods while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
• Update and maintain supplier database regularly.
• Foster supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and material quality.
• Prepare and submit timely procurement reports.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company budgets and reporting timelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in aluminium scrap procurement.
• Proficiency with procurement software, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound knowledge of supplier management and sourcing best practices.
