Job Summary

Zeera Culture is a visionary fashion house redefining African style by promoting Nigerian textiles and reviving African fashion. The company blends tradition with modern design to make African fashion globally relevant. We are seeking a creative and analytical Fashion Trend Forecaster who can interpret cultural movements and fashion research into future design directions that inspire our collections and strengthen our brand’s innovation edge.

Key Responsibilities


  • Research and analyze global fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging cultural influences.
  • Identify future colours, fabrics, patterns, and silhouettes relevant to African and global fashion.
  • Study and reinterpret Nigerian and African textile traditions through a modern lens.
  • Create seasonal trend reports, mood boards, and presentations for design inspiration.
  • Collaborate with the creative and design teams to develop commercially viable and culturally expressive collections.
  • Monitor runway shows, fashion weeks, trade fairs, and social media for new ideas and insights.
  • Track market data and competitor activity to support brand strategy and product innovation.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven background in trend research, fashion analysis, or cultural forecasting.
  • Excellent sense of style, fabric, and colour trends.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, trend forecasting tools, and data visualization.
  • Strong written, visual, and presentation skills.
  • Deep appreciation for African fashion, culture, and textile heritage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with fashion forecasting agencies or creative fashion brands.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and eco-conscious fashion trends.
  • Ability to connect global fashion movements with African cultural identity and textile evolution.
