Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research on Nigerian laws, regulations, and case precedents relevant to Oil & Gas practice
Review and draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, agreements, opinions, and briefs
Assist in case preparation, filings, and court processes
Support senior lawyers in litigation, negotiations, and client advisory services
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and legal procedures
Liaise with courts, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders as required
Maintain accurate legal records, files, and documentation
Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and called to the Nigerian Bar
Minimum of 1–2 years post-call experience
Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws, legal procedures, and court processes
Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Strong communication, advocacy, and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
