Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes according to the restaurant or hotel menu
Ensure meals meet required standards in taste, quality, and presentation
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations
Handle food preparation, seasoning, and cooking processes effectively
Monitor available food supplies and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor or management
Ensure proper storage of food ingredients to prevent spoilage and waste
Support menu planning and development when required
Ensure meals are prepared and served promptly, especially during busy service hours
Follow all health, safety, and kitchen operational guidelines
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations
Required Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and practical experience in cooking
Strong knowledge of both local and continental cuisine
Good time management and multitasking abilities
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
