Procurement Officer

Givanas Cosmetics Nigeria Limited is seeking a Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, supplier contracts, and procurement processes while ensuring compliance with company policies. The role involves market research, contract management, financial oversight, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value and efficiency in procurement activities.

Conduct market research to identify suppliers meeting GC quality standards and negotiate long-term agreements

Manage the contract tender process for goods, services, and projects, including sourcing suppliers, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and finalizing contracts

Support the Head of Supply Chain and senior leadership to ensure financial compliance and integrity

Execute procurement functions in line with company policies, including creating requisitions, monitoring budgets, and working with Contract Managers

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues, reconcile invoices, and maintain supplier records

File procurement documents for audit purposes, track monthly spend, and verify account codes with the Accounts Department

Ensure delivery of the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, perform quality and consistency checks, and maintain documentation

Lead procurement of capital expenditure items such as generators, vehicles, and other assets

Resolve vendor grievances and claims, and carry out any additional procurement tasks assigned by management

B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

Previous experience in procurement and contract management within a structured organization

Financial management experience

Proficiency in English
