Social Media and Content Manager

The Social Media and Content Manager will lead She Code Africa’s digital presence by developing engaging content and campaigns that strengthen the organization’s voice, expand its community, and drive participation in its programs while using insights to improve engagement.

• Plan and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms

• Create compelling content that communicates the organization’s mission and initiatives

• Manage digital campaigns that increase community engagement and program participation

• Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools

• Prepare reports and optimize content strategies using data insights

• Collaborate with internal teams to align social media activities with marketing initiatives

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

• Candidates must be based in Lagos

• 2 to 3 years of experience managing social media and digital content for brands, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations

• Demonstrated ability to run campaigns across platforms such as Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok

• Strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills

• Experience with social media analytics, reporting, and ad management

• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and integrate social media into broader marketing strategies

• Alignment with She Code Africa’s mission and commitment to gender equity in technology
