Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Production Officer to design and deliver skills acquisition and upskilling programs for women producers
Ensure training curricula reflect market demand, quality standards, and current product trends
Facilitate the transition of trained women into active production roles
Establish and enforce production guidelines, quality benchmarks, and product standards across product lines
Monitor and maintain product quality and consistency throughout production cycles
Collect and analyze feedback from buyers, customers, and market partners to inform product improvement and innovation
Support enterprise growth strategy, aligning social impact goals with commercial viability
Contribute to product diversification, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting
Identify and pursue market entry opportunities in civil society, corporate, hospitality, retail, and international markets
Represent the enterprise at exhibitions, trade fairs, and buyer engagements
Track and identify grant opportunities, prizes, and catalytic funding relevant to the enterprise
Support proposal development including concept notes and donor submissions
Build and maintain relationships with partners, buyers, and ecosystem stakeholders
Collaborate with communications personnel to develop compelling narratives linking products to women’s livelihoods and resilience
Assist in creating marketing materials, enterprise profiles, pitch decks, and product stories
Perform other related tasks as required
Required Qualifications
Degree or HND in Gender Studies, Public Policy, Public Administration, Governance, Development Studies, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related field
1–3 years experience in enterprise development, social enterprise, livelihoods programming, SME support, or market systems development
Experience working with women-led enterprises, producer groups, or community-based production models is an advantage
Strong understanding of market-driven enterprise development and value chains
Experience linking skills development programs to income-generating outcomes
Knowledge of product quality standards, pricing, and market positioning
Strong research, proposal writing, and donor engagement skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership management abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work across strategy and execution in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
