Job Summary

Tizeti Network Limited is seeking a meticulous and analytical Account Personnel to manage and support the company’s financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and tax compliance, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and internal controls.


Key Responsibilities


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.


Manage revenue recognition for subscription-based services, including data, voice, fiber, and enterprise solutions.


Perform revenue and billing reconciliations.


Monitor OPEX and CAPEX, including infrastructure and vendor expenses.


Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.


Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT, WHT, CIT, and PAYE.


Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper transaction recording and classification.


Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other accounts.


Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.


Maintain and improve accounting systems and record-keeping processes.


Support process improvements and strengthen internal controls.


Prepare tax schedules and returns to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.


Monitor expenses, compare budgeted versus actual figures, and provide variance explanations.




Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Accounting or related discipline.


Minimum Second Class Upper (2:1)


ICAN certification or part-qualification is an advantage.


4–6 years of relevant accounting experience in a similar role.


Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.


Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.


Experience with accounting software and financial systems.


Knowledge of tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.


Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


High attention to detail and accuracy.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
