Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for mechanical equipment, components, and technical services
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bill of materials to ensure accurate procurement
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order and delivery follow-up
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term partnerships
Monitor market trends, material availability, and cost fluctuations
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for procurement planning
Evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry standards
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or technical purchasing
Strong understanding of mechanical components, industrial equipment, and engineering documentation
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
Proficiency with procurement/ERP systems and MS Office
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
