Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Provide safety training to employees
Investigate accidents and incidents
Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure safety compliance
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in safety roles, preferably in the steel and mills industry
Familiarity with Nigerian safety regulations and standards
Certification in safety management (e.g., NIOSH, OSHA)
Practical experience using Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
