Team Lead – Recycling Unit

Mirahub Limited is seeking a proactive Team Lead to oversee operations within its Recycling Unit. The successful candidate will coordinate daily recycling processes for electronic devices, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, and lead a small team to achieve operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Supervise daily recycling activities involving phones, laptops, and USB boards

Coordinate dismantling and proper segregation of electronic components

Monitor recovery rates and implement measures to reduce waste

Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure proper use of protective equipment

Oversee safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials such as batteries and circuit boards

Maintain accurate inventory records and recycling documentation

Ensure secure data destruction for all processed devices

Provide training and guidance to recycling staff

Track team productivity and ensure operational targets are achieved

Prepare daily and weekly reports for management review

Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workspaces

Ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory standards

OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Engineering, Environmental Science, Physical Sciences, or a related discipline

0 to 2 years experience in recycling, electronics, manufacturing, or related technical operations (NYSC experience accepted)

Basic knowledge of electronic components is an added advantage

Strong leadership and coordination abilities

Attention to detail and high level of accountability

Good documentation and reporting skills

Strong problem-solving capability

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
