Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist will lead the sourcing, acquisition, and management of equipment and services for oil and gas projects, ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities


Develop and implement sourcing strategies for timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services


Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, maintaining strong, long-term relationships


Conduct supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality, HSE, and regulatory standards


Lead contract negotiations and manage the full contract lifecycle


Monitor procurement-related risks, delivery schedules, and performance metrics


Prepare procurement cost reports, track KPIs, and provide budgetary updates


Coordinate timely delivery of materials and ensure adherence to quality specifications


Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation


Manage procurement databases, vendor lists, and historical data for audits and reporting





Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline


Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement within oil & gas EPC or related sectors


Proficiency with procurement and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and project management tools


Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills


Knowledge of international sourcing, logistics, and import/export regulations


Attention to detail, compliance, and process adherence


Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities


Experience with IOCs, NOCs, EPC contractors, and industry stakeholders is desirable


Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills


Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and industry software (AutoCAD, Primavera P6) is an advantage
