HRLeverage Africa is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to oversee hotel operations in Onitsha. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring profitability, operational efficiency, and outstanding guest satisfaction while providing strategic leadership across all departments.
Supervise daily operations across rooms division, food and beverage, and bar or nightclub units
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to departmental heads and team members
Establish and enforce standard operating procedures and quality assurance systems
Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue while maintaining effective cost management
Uphold high service standards to enhance guest experience and brand reputation
Oversee budgeting processes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Coordinate vendor partnerships and manage operational logistics efficiently
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management or a related discipline
Five to seven years of demonstrated experience managing hotel operations, ideally within a multi-outlet facility
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities
Solid knowledge of hotel systems, controls, and operational best practices
Strategic thinker with a strong focus on delivering measurable results
