Chief Security Officer

Thomas Adewumi University, a leading institution in Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, and Innovations (STEM-i), seeks an experienced Chief Security Officer to oversee and coordinate all security operations across the university. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of staff, students, and property while maintaining strong collaboration with external security agencies.

• Provide strategic leadership and coordination of all security operations within the university.
• Supervise and motivate security personnel to ensure effective performance and discipline.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures in line with institutional standards.
• Liaise effectively with law enforcement and other security agencies to ensure proactive protection.
• Conduct routine assessments of security systems, facilities, and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain detailed records and reports of all security incidents and interventions.

• Bachelor’s Degree and a recognized professional certification in Security Training.
• Proven experience in security service, preferably within a tertiary institution.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and crisis management abilities.
• Must be physically fit with a record of integrity and effective security administration.
