Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement operations and ensure timely acquisition of materials for production.
- Maintain a strong understanding of inventory items and manufacturing requirements.
- Liaise with OEMs and suppliers to meet delivery and quality expectations.
- Ensure re-order levels are maintained through effective monitoring and analysis.
- Collaborate across departments to meet procurement timelines and operational goals.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Negotiate contracts and build long-term supplier partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing or procurement.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and procurement teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
