Job Summary

Max Drive, a technology-driven company focused on transforming mobility across Africa, is seeking a Facility / Administrative Officer to manage the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of its facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth facility operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and handle administrative functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee building maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments, ensuring all facilities are fully operational.
  • Manage utilities and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Supervise cleaning, security, and maintenance staff, as well as external contractors.
  • Procure office and cleaning supplies at the best possible cost.
  • Open and secure the office daily, ensuring readiness and safety of all facilities.
  • Inspect buildings regularly to identify repair or renovation needs.
  • Control activities such as waste disposal, parking allocation, and building security.
  • Maintain accurate records of expenses, repairs, and utilities.
  • Prepare reports, budgets, and forecasts for facility needs.
  • Promote energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness across operations.
  • Manage service contracts, insurance plans, and administrative records.



Required Qualifications


  • Minimum of HND or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a facility, administrative, or operational role.
  • Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Solid understanding of building services and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with sound record-keeping and planning capabilities.
  • Team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
