Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and issue goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Manage stock levels and prepare regular inventory reports for management.
- Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and ensure record accuracy.
- Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and manage obsolete or surplus stock.
- Supervise offloading, stacking, and arrangement of goods for easy accessibility.
- Perform periodic stock reconciliations and ensure zero discrepancies.
- Ensure timely valuation of inventory and maintain stock bin cards for all SKUs.
- Inspect goods received to confirm quality standards before acceptance.
- Update the inventory database with new items and quantities.
- Maintain safekeeping of company assets and equipment.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient inventory management processes.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent understanding of inventory control systems and principles.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and record-keeping skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
