Inventory Officer

Max Drive, a leading technology-enabled mobility company, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage and maintain accurate stock levels. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory operations, ensure proper documentation, maintain stock accuracy, and support the company’s supply chain efficiency through effective stock control and reporting.

• Receive, store, and issue goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Manage stock levels and prepare regular inventory reports for management.
• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and ensure record accuracy.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotes, and manage obsolete or surplus stock.
• Supervise offloading, stacking, and arrangement of goods for easy accessibility.
• Perform periodic stock reconciliations and ensure zero discrepancies.
• Ensure timely valuation of inventory and maintain stock bin cards for all SKUs.
• Inspect goods received to confirm quality standards before acceptance.
• Update the inventory database with new items and quantities.
• Maintain safekeeping of company assets and equipment.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient inventory management processes.

• B.Sc / HND in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inventory management.
• Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace.
• Excellent understanding of inventory control systems and principles.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and record-keeping skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
