Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Swift Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client, an IT firm, for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of secure cloud environments, manage risk, and ensure compliance with global security standards while providing technical leadership within the security team.

Design and deploy secure cloud infrastructures across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform

Establish and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and governance frameworks

Continuously monitor cloud systems to detect vulnerabilities, threats, and configuration weaknesses

Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and coordinate remediation efforts

Embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines to support DevSecOps initiatives

Manage identity and access controls, encryption protocols, key management, and cloud network security

Lead security audits, incident investigations, and forensic analysis within cloud environments

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior security team members

Work closely with compliance teams to meet regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline

Minimum of seven years’ cybersecurity experience, including at least three years specializing in cloud security

Experience working with HRIS or other highly sensitive data management systems

Strong practical expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP security services

Proficiency in identity and access management, network security, SIEM, CASB, and cloud-native security solutions

Experience securing containers using Docker and Kubernetes, and working with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation

Knowledge of recognized security frameworks including NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001

Strong scripting capability in Python, Bash, or PowerShell

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
