Swift Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client in Education, Human Resources, and Management for a Transport Officer. The role involves managing transport operations, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient logistics support across multiple locations.
Manage transport budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings
Coordinate daily transport operations and ensure timely delivery schedules
Supervise drivers and transport personnel to maintain professionalism and punctuality
Plan and implement efficient routing strategies to optimize operations
Monitor vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and operational costs
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, regulations, and internal policies
Liaise with other departments to provide seamless logistical support
Prepare and maintain accurate transport reports and documentation
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of five years’ experience in transport or fleet management
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of transport management systems is an advantage
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of route planning, logistics, and vehicle maintenance best practices
