Farm Manager

Swift Consulting Limited is recruiting on behalf of its client, an Agro-allied company, for a Farm Manager. The role involves overseeing poultry farm operations, managing staff, ensuring biosecurity, and maintaining accurate production and financial records to achieve operational efficiency and production targets.

Plan and manage feed, vaccines, medications, and other farm inputs

Supervise and train farm workers to ensure adherence to operational procedures

Oversee daily poultry farm activities including brooding, feeding, vaccination, and growth monitoring

Implement proper biosecurity measures and maintain strict hygiene standards

Monitor bird health, identify early signs of disease, and coordinate veterinary interventions

Maintain accurate records of production, mortality, feed consumption, and sales

Manage inventory, budgeting, cost control, and reporting processes

Collaborate with management to achieve production targets and optimize efficiency

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines

Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field

Three to five years of experience managing a poultry farm (layers or broilers)

Strong knowledge of poultry production, disease control, and farm management practices

Ability to work independently and respond effectively to farm emergencies

Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer applications is an advantage

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
