Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of hydraulic systems in FLS Coolers, IKN Coolers, Loesche VRM, and OK Mills.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system faults in Stacker/Reclaimer equipment, kilns, coolers, and raw/cement mills.
- Perform feasibility studies and technical assessments for hydraulic issues and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and optimize hydraulic designs for improved performance.
- Conduct risk analysis and enforce safety measures in hydraulic system operations.
- Execute hydraulic calculations, simulations, and modelling to predict system behavior and performance.
- Supervise installation, inspection, and maintenance of hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Stay updated on hydraulic engineering advancements and apply innovative practices.
- Manage maintenance schedules, budgets, and resources for plant reliability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialized Hydraulics training; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in cement plant hydraulic systems.
- Proven expertise in hydraulic operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, symbols, and relevant design software (AutoCAD, SAP, MS Office).
- Excellent understanding of fluid mechanics and hydraulic system principles.
- Project management experience and ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with environmental compliance and safety standards.
