Job Summary

An interior design company specializing in retail, office, hotel, and home interiors is seeking a Design Associate to support design development, project coordination, and quality assurance across diverse interior design projects.



Key Responsibilities


Assist in developing design concepts, layouts, and visual assets for digital, print, environmental, and architectural applications.


Support the Lead Architect/Design Lead throughout the design process from concept to completion.


Produce blueprints, presentations, mock-ups, mood boards, and client proposals.


Ensure compliance with local authority codes and design standards.


Coordinate projects, monitor timelines, and liaise with vendors, contractors, and sub-consultants.


Maintain organized design files, documentation, and project records.


Uphold quality assurance procedures and ensure deliverables meet operational standards.


Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand and design guidelines are consistently applied.


Conduct research on design trends and recommend innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.


Liaise with site and post-contract teams to address design-related issues and review subcontractor drawings.





Required Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Interior Architecture or related field.


Completion of NYSC.


1–2 years of experience in interior design projects (portfolio required).


Proficiency in design software and MS Office (Excel proficiency required).


Strong space planning, visualization, and creative skills with attention to detail.


Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.


Good communication and presentation skills.
