Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic, a 24/7 multidisciplinary cardiovascular and cardiac rehabilitation facility, is hiring a Remote Bookkeeper to manage financial records and support the finance unit. The role requires accuracy, integrity, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles to ensure proper financial documentation and compliance.
Record daily financial transactions and maintain updated ledgers
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Reconcile bank statements and address discrepancies promptly
Maintain petty cash records and monitor expenses
Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries
Support payroll documentation and statutory remittances including PAYE and pension
Organize and maintain both digital and physical financial records
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
Assist with audit preparations and internal financial reviews
Provide financial updates and reports to management when required
Minimum of OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently
Good written and verbal communication skills
Stable internet connection and a functional laptop
Preferred Competencies:
Experience in healthcare financial operations
Knowledge of Nigerian tax and pension remittance processes
Basic understanding of financial compliance standards
