Job Summary


Rite Foods Limited, a leading Nigerian foods and beverages manufacturing company, is hiring a Human Resource Business Partner (Commercial) to provide strategic HR support to its commercial function. The role focuses on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, driving performance, and strengthening workforce effectiveness within the assigned unit.



Key Responsibilities

Partner with Commercial leadership to design and execute HR strategies that support business goals


Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning initiatives


Manage performance processes including target setting, appraisals, and improvement plans


Drive employee engagement programs and promote a high-performance culture


Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict management


Analyze HR metrics and manpower data to support informed decision-making


Ensure adherence to company policies, labor regulations, and compliance standards


Support organizational change and transformation initiatives within the Commercial team


Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence to implement HR projects and interventions






Required Qualifications

First Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field


Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an added advantage


Minimum of 5–7 years progressive HR experience


At least 2–3 years’ experience in a Business Partner role supporting Commercial or Sales teams


Strong strategic thinking and business insight


Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills


Solid knowledge of employee relations and conflict resolution


Expertise in performance management systems


Ability to interpret HR analytics and apply data-driven insights


Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices


Experience in change management and organizational development
