RockPay is seeking a meticulous and analytical Auditor/Accountant to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial transactions on its mobile payment platform. The role involves monitoring, reconciling, and reporting on digital transactions, while supporting internal audits and financial controls.
Reconcile all incoming and outgoing RockPay app transactions daily, weekly, and monthly
Verify accuracy of customer deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and service fees
Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, or unauthorized transactions
Prepare weekly financial reports including total transactions, revenue, operational costs, and profit/loss analysis
Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations, fintech policies, and internal controls
Review and verify weekly account statements and maintain accurate financial records
Identify financial risks and recommend improvements to internal control systems
Support fraud prevention and ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) standards
Provide financial insights and summaries to senior management
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
2–5 years experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management
Experience in fintech, digital banking, or mobile payment platforms is highly desirable
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage
Proficiency in accounting software, financial management systems, and advanced Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information
Ability to work independently and meet weekly reporting deadlines
