Savannah Tech is seeking an experienced Fullstack Tech Lead to drive the development of internal tools, automations, and systems that support recruiting and operational workflows. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, system design, and close collaboration with leadership teams.
Build and maintain internal tools using React for frontend and Node.js for backend services
Design and implement complex workflow automations using n8n
Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries for internal data and operational insights
Apply AI tools and prompt engineering to improve automation and data processing
Manage the full software development lifecycle including version control and deployments
Design, manage, and review technical assessments for engineering candidates
Review code quality and technical tasks across multiple technology stacks
Translate recruiting and business processes into technical specifications and workflows
Perform end-to-end testing of tools and automations to ensure reliability
Analyze existing workflows and propose system and process improvements
Take ownership of systems with a holistic, end-to-end technical perspective
Minimum of 6 years professional software development experience with leadership exposure
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and React for full-stack development
Proven experience building and maintaining internal tools and automation systems
Practical hands-on experience using n8n for workflow automation
Strong understanding of AI tools and prompt engineering
Solid SQL skills including writing and optimizing complex queries
Experience with Git and modern DevOps best practices
Ability to review and understand code across multiple tech stacks
Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving mindset
Clear, structured communication skills for working with leadership
