Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations across multiple entities within the group.
- Supervise the Assistant Finance Manager and accounting officers to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Support the CFO in producing consolidated financial statements and reports for the Board.
- Implement and monitor accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Manage financial closings, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Develop and oversee service-line accounting systems to track revenue and costs for wellness and healthcare programs.
- Collaborate with operational teams to assess profitability and improve cost efficiency.
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Track budget performance and provide variance analysis and corrective recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory obligations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, maintaining relationships with auditors and tax authorities.
- Mentor and guide finance team members to foster professional development and accountability.
- Support process automation and digital transformation of the finance function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Professional certification: ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory).
- 7–10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare or group structures.
- Proven expertise in intercompany accounting, consolidation, and transfer pricing.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Nigerian tax laws, and corporate reporting standards.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and organizational competence.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.
