Fleet Manager

Vaste Limited, a leading car rental and leasing service provider in Nigeria, is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee vehicle operations, driver coordination, compliance, and cost efficiency across its Abuja and Lagos locations.

* Assist in recruiting and onboarding qualified drivers into the fleet

* Ensure safe and efficient operation of all company vehicles and services

* Develop effective driver schedules to optimize productivity and profitability

* Identify cost-saving strategies while maximizing operational returns

* Promote and enforce defensive driving practices

* Maintain accurate time schedules for all vehicle movements

* Monitor vehicle documentation and ensure timely renewals

* Ensure full compliance with federal and state transportation laws

* Schedule and oversee routine vehicle maintenance

* Identify, report, and mitigate safety hazards

* Conduct vehicle inspections for safety, oil, water, and tyres before deployment

* Provide regular updates on vehicle or motorcycle locations

* Carry out additional duties as assigned by management

* Degree in Logistics or any related discipline

* Proven experience in the transportation industry

* Strong organizational and coordination skills

* Analytical thinking with good problem-solving ability

* Quantitative and data-handling competence

* High level of attention to detail

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
