Chef/Cook

Atlantic Palms Suites is seeking a talented and experienced Chef/Cook to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about cooking, skilled in preparing a variety of dishes, and capable of managing kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

* Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with the restaurant’s menu

• Develop new recipes and improve existing dishes to enhance the dining experience
• Ensure food presentation is appealing and meets company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders for kitchen supplies, and manage food costs efficiently
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure teamwork and efficiency
• Plan and adjust menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
• Handle food storage properly to prevent spoilage and waste
• Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of local and international cuisines
• Excellent cooking and food presentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts as required
